EFF Director of Strategy Danny O'Brien and EFF Special Advisor and author Cory Doctorow lead a panel of online rights advocates and special guests.

9:00 pm—DJ Set by Encanti with Visuals by Lumendrop
Encanti is the artist name of Ben Cantil, half of audio/visual duo Zebbler Encanti Experience with VJ Peter ‘Zebbler’ Berdovsky (widely known for his work with Shpongle and EOTO over the years). ZEE releases music regularly on experimental electronic labels Wakaan and Gravitas Recordings, and the music has been supported by Bassnectar, Space Jesus, and Liquid Stranger; and has collaborated with artists such as Mr. Bill, Of The Trees, Au5, and acclaimed vocalist Ganavya Doraiswamy. Cantil is also an Assistant Professor of Music Production, Technology, and Innovation at Berklee Valencia in Valencia, Spain, where he teaches electronic music production and sound design.

Lumendrop (Theresa Silver) is an audiovisual artist, multimedia developer, VJ, stage designer, and projection mapping specialist. Originally passionate to explore the realm of sound and prolifically inspired to compose by improvisation, she studied for a decade as a classical pianist and harpist before discovering electronic music, which drew her to study sound synthesis and design at Berklee College of Music in Boston, and sparked a new interest for digital signal processing which led her in turn to the Computer Science Masters Program at Harvard University, where she was introduced to computer graphics and generative algorithms and there — her love of visualizing sound was born.

Branching from there into live video performance and sculptural projection mapping, she has brought her vision to more than 500 events and held VJ residencies at clubs such as ICON, GoodLife, Lower Level, and Phoenix Landing in Boston and Verboten in New York.
