Speakeasy: London
EFF-ORG-Tor Happy Hour
Thursday, 14 June, 2012, 6-8 PM
The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) is proud to host our next Speakeasy with the Open Rights Group (ORG) and the Tor Project in London! Join representatives from digital rights allies ORG, anonymity advocates from Tor, legendary writer and activist Cory Doctorow, and EFF Legal Director Cindy Cohn! Raise a glass with us and discover our latest work protecting digital innovation, privacy, and free expression, and learn more about the continuing fight to defend your freedom online.
Speakeasy events are free, informal meetups that give you a chance to mingle with local online rights supporters and speak with the people leading the charge to protect digital civil liberties. It is also our chance to thank you, the supporters who make it possible. For this round, we are pleased to welcome EFF members as well as all friends and guests.
UPDATE: The event has been moved up to 5:30 PM and will include a discussion of the Communication Capabilities Development Programme (CCDP) proposals, which are to be announced on Thursday. We hope you can attend.
