Last week, trade officials signed the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement. This signing was really just a formality, but it means we're in a new phase of fighting the anti-user deal: preventing the deal's ratification across the participating countries. Due to both political reasons and the terms stipulated by the TPP, the agreement cannot go into force without the United States' legislative approval. Although the issues we will be discussing will impact everyone in the countries involved in the TPP, this is why it is especially critical that people in the U.S. learn all they can about this secretive agreement and call on their representatives to vote no to its ratification.
