Speakeasy: Bay Area
EFF Members-Only Happy Hour
Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 6-8 PM
Join the Electronic Frontier Foundation staff for a drink on Thursday, June 7th at a secret location in San Francisco! Raise a glass with EFF attorneys, technologists, and activists and discover our latest work defending your freedom online. EFF's Speakeasy events are free, informal meetups that give you a chance to mingle with local members and meet the people behind the world's leading digital civil liberties organization. It is also our chance to thank you, the EFF members who make this work possible.
As a special treat, the EFF staff will give the crowd a brief update on our work with an emerging online rights issue selected by you! Vote for the topic of your choice when you register:
- CISPA and Other Cybersecurity Legislation
- Software Patents
- Drone Flights
Current Bay Area members and recent donors accepting email will receive a personal invitation with the location and registration details on Thursday, May 24th. Guests are welcome, but space is limited. Attendees must be 21 or older. No-host bar. For more information, contact membership@eff.org.
Not a member, or let your membership lapse this year? There's still time to join EFF today!
