Our rights to free speech and privacy online are under attack on multiple fronts. Whether it’s lobbyists pushing for laws that would take marginalized voices off the Internet, Internet service providers threatening to restrict access to information they don’t like, or the NSA spying on our Internet communications, the fight for our right to speak out on the Internet never ends.

Join Indivisible 605 for an informal discussion on threats to your online freedom of expression. EFF’s Elliot Harmon and Techdirt’s Tim Cushing will cover a few topics coming up in Congress this year that are likely to impact your digital rights for years to come. We’ll also discuss ways that South Dakotans can get involved with the fight for free expression, privacy, and innovation online. If you’ve been looking for opportunities to speak out for digital civil liberties in your community, come join the discussion.
