Join EFF’s Associate Director for Latin American Policy, Veridiana Alimonti, at the VI International Conference on Fundamental Rights and Criminal Procedure in the Digital Age, promoted by InternetLab with the institutional support of the Law School of the University of São Paulo (FDUSP).

Veridiana will speak in the panel Cybercrime Conventions and International Criminal Prosecution with Eric do Val Lacerda Sogocio, Brazilian diplomat and Vice-Chair of the Ad Hoc Committee for the UN Convention on cybercrime.

This year's conference will be held August 23-25, and will address the current debates around cybercrime and the protection of personal data.  Since 2017, InternetLab’s international conference foster debates on the intersection between criminal procedure and technology, addressing the challenge of keeping procedural safeguards updated.
