EFF International IP Director Gwen Hinze will be attending the 22nd session of the World Intellectual Property Organization's Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights in Geneva, Switzerland. This meeting will discuss new proposals for a WIPO Broadcasting Treaty, proposals for a treaty to increase access to accessible format information for the blind and print disabled, and proposals for a treaty for copyright exceptions for libraries and archives. WIPO will also present two new studies on the role and responsibilities of Internet intermediaries.
