February 27, 2010 (All day)

This year, EFF will be receiving a portion of the proceeds from the San Francisco Chinese New Year Treasure Hunt on Saturday, February 27! If you've never participated before, you're in for a great time.

The Chinese New Year Treasure Hunt is a unique urban sleuthing adventure played on the streets of Chinatown, North Beach, and Telegraph Hill on the night of the annual Chinese New Year Parade. Treasure hunting teams have four hours to solve sixteen clues leading them to obscure landmarks, forgotten architectural delights and vestiges of San Francisco's colorful past. Players can come with a team already organized, or can join like-minded hunters at the event.

The hunt starts at 4:30 p.m. and goes until 9:00 p.m. Participation fees are $35 per adult in advance, or $40 on the day of the event; kids' tickets are $10. For more information, or to order tickets, please visit http://www.sftreasurehunts.com/hunts/chinese_new_year/index.html.
