About Berkeley Public Library:

The Berkeley Public Library has served the people of Berkeley since 1893, and looks forward to providing many more years of community service. The Library is one of the most heavily used libraries in California, serving a local population of 118,950 and more from the surrounding area. (US Census estimate as of July 1, 2022) The Central Library, located in downtown Berkeley, and four recently renovated branches ensure easy library access for residents in Berkeley’s many and diverse neighborhoods.

About Meet the Moment:

We help nonprofits make confident technology decisions so they can spend less time fighting technology and more time on mission. We have worked together for over 31 years, helping nonprofits build real technology capacity from the ground up. What started in social work at Fountain House in New York City became a shared career turning complex technology into a practical force for mission-driven teams. We founded Meet the Moment because nonprofits are navigating more uncertainty than ever — from the rise of AI to growing cybersecurity threats to an environment that demands resilience at every level. That's the moment we built this firm to meet.

This event is organized not by EFF, but by the Berkeley Art Center, in partnership with Berkeley Public Library and Meet the Moment.
