Shock Jock Attacks Critics With Bogus Suit

When the Council on Islamic-American Relations (CAIR) posted clips of talk radio host Michael Savage to criticize him and the content of his show, the incendiary Savage simply couldn't take the heat. Savage alleged that CAIR infringed his copyrights by posting the excerpts online and filed a baseless copyright suit against the organization to stop them from speaking out. EFF and the law firm of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP defended CAIR's First Amendment and fair use rights, and prevailed.
