The San Francisco Public Defender’s Office authored a letter to the SF Police Commission describing shortcomings of the initial proposed draft of Department General Order 10.12, a policy to govern the San Francisco Police Department's use of drones, also known as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). That letter was signed by over a dozen local, state, and national groups, including EFF.
