Lena is a Staff Technologist at EFF primarily focused on developing Privacy Badger—a browser extension used by over three million people to stop companies from tracking them as they browse the web. Lena also works on issues of commercial surveillance, the data broker industry, and consumer privacy. Lena holds a degree in Computer Science and Science, Technology, and Society from Brown University.
Tori Noble
Tori Noble
Tori Noble is a Staff Attorney at the Electronic Frontier Foundation specializing in free speech, intellectual property, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence issues. Tori leads EFF’s work on AI and copyright issues. She also advocates for sensible AI policy in courts, governments, and technical standards organizations.
In addition to her work on AI, Tori litigates free speech, copyright, privacy, and transparency cases. She also advises security and encryption researchers through EFF’s Coder’s Rights Project and co-leads EFF’s cybersecurity policy work.
Maddie Daly
Maddie Daly
Maddie Daly is the Assistant Director of Federal Affairs at EFF, focusing on federal issues relating to privacy, intellectual property, competition, and AI. As a former Congressional staffer, Maddie has experience covering the Judiciary and Rules committees for Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon. She uses this understanding of both legislative process and policymaking dynamics to defend civil liberties in the digital arena.
Efren Narvaez

Efren is the receptionist at the Electronic Frontier Foundation. He spends most of his time assisting guests at EFF, helping with any general employee inquiries, and processing mail. When not at the front desk, he's stocking office necessities and assisting with building maintenance. Constantly learning new things and making sure your experience at EFF is the most pleasant it can be.

Molly holds a degree in Computer Science from MIT and is committed to fighting for privacy and security online for all users. Aside from keeping EFF sites running, she is passionate about machine learning and standing against the irresponsible deployment of it for civil control.
Hudson Hongo
Hudson Hongo
Hudson is a communications manager at EFF. He has over a decade of experience in journalism, most recently at the tech news site Gizmodo. As a writer and editor, he has published stories on algorithmic bias, the future of privacy, and the creeping uncanniness of our world. Prior to joining EFF, Hudson was the editorial lead at PAI, a non-profit focused on responsible AI practices.
Hudson’s interests include amphibians, tropical fruit, and Paul Verhoeven’s 1990 action/sci-fi classic RoboCop. His karaoke song is “Dragula.”
Elizabeth (Lisa) Femia
Elizabeth (Lisa) Femia
Lisa Femia is a Staff Attorney on EFF’s civil liberties team. Her work focuses on surveillance, privacy, free speech, and the impact of technology on civil rights and civil liberties. Lisa came to EFF from Hogan Lovells US LLP, where she maintained a robust pro bono practice centered on democracy reform, criminal justice, and civil rights. Prior to joining Hogan, Lisa worked on privacy and government surveillance issues as a clinic student and post-graduate intern at the Brennan Center for Justice.

Babette Ngene is the Director of the Public Interest Technology team at EFF. She provides strategic oversight for EFF's technological initiatives, ranging from cybersecurity to the development and deployment of open-source technologies dedicated to safeguarding and defending rights in the digital space.
Melissa Srago
Melissa Srago
As the Member Experience Architect, Melissa develops and leads membership events for the EFF. Prior to EFF she’s worked with events of all sizes from backyards to convention centers in personal, corporate, and non-profit settings. She thrives on the effort it takes to make an event both successful and memorable, always dreaming up what could be next for EFF event attendees. When not at the office you will find her planning her next trip, trying a new restaurant, or at home with her husband, pets, and many, many plants.
Molly Buckley
Molly Buckley
As a legislative analyst, Molly examines state legislation with a focus on bills that impact free expression, digital privacy, online anonymity, and bodily autonomy. Over the years, she's worn several hats at EFF. As an activist, she led a campaign against online age-verification mandates; as a two-time legal fellow on the civil liberties team, she worked on First Amendment litigation and was a member of the Coder's Rights Project; and even earlier, as a legal intern, Molly learned the ropes of digital rights advocacy from her remarkable colleagues.
