The Glass Room, San Francisco

Join us for a panel discussion on pervasive tracking on the Internet and the role of Domain Name System (DNS).

The panel will be held at Mozilla’s Glass Room - an interactive and immersive experience with more than 50 hands-on and thought-provoking installations that is opening on October 16th. It will feature:

  • Sean Captain, Fast Company (moderator)

  • Mona Wang, EFF Staff Technologist

  • Marshall Erwin, Sr. Director Trust and Safety, Mozilla

  • Tejas N. Narechania, Assistant Professor of Law, University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. Specialties: Telecommunications, Intellectual Property, and the Courts.

The Glass Room is a 28,000 square-foot pop-up store with a twist, presenting more than 50 provocative tech products in an unexpected environment. This installment arrives in San Francisco to turn a mirror on Silicon Valley, to the people who make our technologies and those who are affected by its impact on society. The Glass Room is a great way for users of technology to engage on a deeper level and make more informed choices. Each piece in The Glass Room tells a different story about data and technology, so there is something for everyone to connect with.”

In addition to the exhibits, the Glass Room will host programming and talks to foster debate, discussion, and solution-finding on the relevant and hot topic issues facing the industry and consumers today.
