October 18, 2022 - 2:00pm to 4:00pm PDT
Chicago, IL

Lucy Parsons Labs, a local organization in the Electronic Frontier Alliance (not EFF), will host this event:

Digital Detox

From the Organizers:

Our digital footprint is the collective sum of data that we have left in bread crumbs all over the internet. We leave behind tidbits of information about us - from Google search engine results of old news articles, social media pages, people search engines and old forums. Why should we care about this information and how do we begin to clean up and take ownership over our digital life?  Let's begin to answer these questions together.

This event takes place in person. Masks are strongly encouraged in all Chicago Public Library locations.
