June 12, 2024 - 3:00pm to 4:30pm PDT

Electronic Frontier Alliance (EFA) Videoconferences are an opportunity for local grassroots groups to share their work, offer mutual support, and participate in exclusive talks and workshops on digital rights issues.

These events are only open to EFA member groups, but membership is open to applications for qualifying groups.

EFA Video Conference: LGBTQ+ and Surveillance

Surveillance is an issue for everyone, but the impacts compound for folks already on the margins. Legislatures across the country are targeting LGBTQ+ communities, using digital technology to intimidate them and restrict their autonomy. Highlighting these recent issues and the fight going forward, EFA will be joined by EFF staff technologist Daly Barnett.

Wednesday, June 12
3-4:30 pm PT / 6-7:30 pm ET
