Dawson College (Room 2F4) - Montreal, Canada

What does anti-consumerism have to do with digital rights? This talk will go over net neutrality, open source software, and privacy in the digital world. We'll discuss how to think about digital security in the modern world with particular considerations for vulnerable communities and activists. More practically, we'll cover some core concepts, along with specific recommendations and tools that you can employ in your everyday life. A Q&A period will take place after the talk.

The talk will be given by EFF's Amul Kalia and is hosted by the Dawson Student Union and the Concordia Student Union.
