Privacy Watch, A local organization in the Electronic Frontier Alliance (not EFF) will host this event:

What:

Lobby St. Louis City Hall for Oversight Over Police Surveillance

Join Privacy Watch for a lobby day at St. Louis City Hall in support of effective oversight of police surveillance. We will be lobbying for a key surveillance bill. If adopted the new law will require any St. Louis City agency to get approval from the Board of Alderman before purchasing surveillance technologies.

Lobby day will include a rally, press conference, time for lobbying teams to get together to prepare for their meetings, and then we will go and lobby our elected officials!

The coalition needs everyone to RSVP in order to set up lobbying teams and meetings with your Alderperson in the very near future.

When:

Friday, May 4, 2018

Participants are strongly encouraged to attend one of these formal training sessions:

(1) Wednesday, April 11 from 6-7:30 PM. RSVP here.
