EFF Special Advisor Cory Doctorow presents part II of McGill University's annual Beaverbrook Lecture: How to Destroy Surveillance Capitalism.

Part II of the 2020 Beaverbrook Public Lecture is with acclaimed novelist, activist, and journalist, Cory Doctorow. His lecture, “How to Destroy Surveillance Capitalism” will build from his recently published book of the same name, and will respond to the current state of surveillance capitalism through a critical analysis of technological and economic monopolies. 

The lecture will be held Monday, November 23, at 12:00 EST on Zoom. A live Q & A session will follow the lecture.
