This page is a resource for finding networks of parents across the country with whom you could connect, in addition to connecting more locally with other concerned parents in your community. To nominate networks not represented here, please email info@eff.org with “student privacy” in the subject line.

  • Parent Coalition for Student Privacy The Parent Coalition for Student Privacy was founded in July 2014 by two parent advocates who led a successful battle to stop nine states from disclosing personal student data to a massive student database without parent notification or consent. After the database was shut down in April 2014, they formed a national coalition to defend the rights of parents and students to protect their data. In addition to its website, you can reach out to the Parent Coalition for Student Privacy through its Facebook page and twitter at @parents4privacy.
