Apple, AT&T and Verizon receive lowest marks in EFF privacy report

Digital activists Electronic Frontier Foundation has published its annual comprehensive review of how large consumer technology companies hand over user information to the government and law enforcement officials.

“When you use the Internet, you entrust your conversations, thoughts, experiences, locations, photos, and more to companies like Google, AT&T and Facebook,” the group writes. “But what do these companies do when the government demands your private information? Do they stand with you? Do they let you know what’s going on?”
