The Cypurr Collective, a local organization in the Electronic Frontier Alliance (not EFF), will host this event:

Pssst...What’s The Password? (lol don’t actually tell me)

From The Organizers:

Iloveyou...Aww that’s sweet, but not really a great password. Is 123456 just not cutting it anymore? As our lives become more and more dependent on digital technologies, passwords are becoming our new house keys, helping keep our sensitive data safe 'n' sound from nosy onlookers. Join CyPurr as we talk best practices for creating and maintaining strong passwords in your life. We’ll be talking password generating techniques, as well as habits that can help you keep track of many super-secure ones that you may need to create.
