Electronic Frontiers Georgia, a local organization in the Electronic Frontier Alliance, (not EFF) will host this event:

Georgia Legislative Proposals to Regulate Social Media

From the Organizers:

Two proposed bills in the Georgia legislature, SB 393 (the Common Carrier Non-Discrimination Act) and SB 394 (the Georgia Computer Data Privacy Act), would regulate social media and other commercial Internet activity in Georgia. We are honored to be joined by Georgia attorney Ron Daniels, who will explain the legal aspects of these bills.

We will meet virtually using the BigBlueButton platform. EFGA recommends Chrome (preferred) or Firefox for connecting to BigBlueButton on desktops and laptops. Users may also connect with iPhone using the built-in browser, or Android with Chrome for Mobile.
