The Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly will hold a day-long symposium on the "Value of Privacy" from 8:00 am-5:30 pm. Two EFF speakers will participate. The event is free and open to the public, although online RSVP is available.

EFF staff attorney Hanni Fakhoury will speak on a panel at 10:45 am about "Government, Data Collection, & Surveillance." The panel will also feature speakers Renee Domingo, Director of Emergency Services and Homeland Security for the City of Oakland, Marshall Erwin, Hoover Institute, Susan Freiwald, Professor University of San Francisco School of Law, and Nicole Ozer, American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).

EFF senior staff attorney Kurt Opsahl will speak on a panel at 3:45 pm about "Privacy Solutions." The panel will also feature Alex Fowler from Mozilla.
