Calling all software developers and coders!

There has been a lot of talk about software patents lately. Overly broad patents and patent trolls seem to be on the tech community's minds -- and lately, Congress has been very interested in sensible reform.

And in order for that to happen, your voices need to be heard!

To start that conversation, EFF and Mozilla are hosting a party. We want to hear from you guys -- the people on the ground -- about how software patents are really affecting innovation and what needs to be done.

There will be beer. There will be pizza. There will be lots of talk about patents.

WHAT: Patent Reform Party!

WHEN: Thursday, May 9 from 5:30pm to 8pm

WHERE: Mozilla San Francisco, 7th Floor

               2 Harrison St.

              San Francisco, CA 94105
