A local organization in the Electronic Frontier Alliance (not EFF) will host this event:
The Chicago Committee to Defend the Bill of Rights will be presenting two digital security training sessions this week featuring Lucy Parsons Labs. The two workshops, one on October 12 and the other on October 15, are open to activists, civil liberties advocates, and anyone interested in protecting their digital privacy and security, and will feature an overview on new training materials as well as a question and answer segment with digital security experts.
Both sessions are free to attend and do not require registration or self-identification of any kind. Attendees are free to take part anonymously if desired, or may choose to introduce themselves and network. Questions will also be submitted anonymously.
NOTE: These two digital security workshops will be identical in format. Prospective participants are welcome to attend either session.
