I’m excited to announce the start of this year’s Power Up Your Donation campaign! Until the end of Friday, donations to EFF through the campaign will be matched, meaning every gift has double the impact on digital rights. In 2014, EFF strengthened programs throughout the organization in response to the growing, worldwide movement for digital rights. We expanded challenges to NSA surveillance, convinced companies to protect communications with encryption, battled patent trolls, built ambitious tools to make browsing safer and more secure, revised and translated our comprehensive guide to defending against surveillance, made the case for net neutrality, and much more. We have even bigger plans for 2015, and joining the Power Up Your Donation campaign is a fantastic way to jump-start support for these ongoing efforts.
