Join Noah Swartz and EFF Senior Staff Technologist Brad Warren for a Certbot Hackathon during PyCon Cleveland 2018.

What:

PyCon 2018 Certbot Development Sprint:

Certbot is part of EFF's effort to encrypt the Internet. Certbot automates fetching and deploying SSL/TLS certificates from Let's Encrypt and is run on millions of servers worldwide to help provide and maintain HTTPS access to websites.

This hackathon will provide an excellent opportunity to meet Certbot developers and for contributors to open-source projects to get together face-to-face for intensive learning, development and camaraderie. Programmers and technical writers are encouraged to attend. No background in web security is required.

You can learn more about contributing in our Developer Guide or find a good first issue on GitHub.  This and all PyCon sprints are free to attend (you don't need a Talks and Events PyCon registration).

When:

Monday, May 14 - Thursday, May 17

Where:

Huntington Convention Center
300 Lakeside Ave E
Cleveland, OH 44113
