From the Organizers:
In 2016, the European Union passed a regulation whose seismic ripples continue to shake the foundations of the internet and its data handling. Whether you like it or not, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) affects you and your employer or company even if you never do business in the EU. Come learn what this unpronounceable acronym is all about and how to handle the changes it requires. Whether you're just a smartphone user, part of the IT department or a legal professional, you should be ready to handle GDPR and be familiar with how it has already impacted data privacy.
