Intro to Threat Modeling and Holistic Security

Threats are a real and ever-present aspect of the world we navigate. Whether they occur due to our activities, or just from trying to navigate through our days, the feelings that we develop from feeling threatened have a very concrete impact on our lives. The purpose of this presentation is to present exercises that can aid in reducing anxiety surrounding our feelings of threat, and can help you or the org you are a part of create a space for members to share threats, and evaluate them for likelihood, rather than just becoming paranoid by them.

The CyPurr Collective is a group of some tech-minded folks who are very jazzed about cybersecurity, cats, and helping folks out with their digital dilemmas. We offer workshops for activists, journalists, educators, and everyday folks who want to up their encryption game!
