San Francisco

From the Organizers:

This year, San Francisco became one of the first major U.S. cities to ban the use of facial recognition software by police and other agencies. But what does the ban really mean for citizens of the Bay Area? How else is this technology being used? What other actions can be taken? In this discussion, leading voices in the field – including Tracy Rosenberg (Media Alliance), Nathan 'nash' Sheard (EFF), Jacob Snow (ACLU), and Sameena Usman (CAIR-SFBA) – will talk about what the ban means, how it was achieved, and why it is important
