The Brazilian Internet Forum brings together participants from civil society, academia, government, and the private sector to discuss issues central to creating a diverse, universal, and innovative Internet in Brazil. Put on by the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee (CGI.br), the 8th annual Brazilian Internet Forum uses the human rights guidelines outlined by the CGI.br's Principles for the Governance and Use of the Internet as its guide.

On November 6, EFF’s Latin American Senior Policy Analyst, Veridiana Alimonti, will be participating in one of the workshops at the Brazilian Internet Forum called Encryption, Regulation, and Human Rights (from 11am to 12:30pm BRT). For more information, click here.
