OurVoteLive.org is a web application for the logging and organization of election-related problems and inquiries across the USA. Since early 2008, it's been used by the Election Protection Coalition (EPC) to coordinate efforts in several elections, including the 2008, 2009 and 2010 general elections.
The website allows the general public a window onto EPC's election protection efforts by providing publicly-visible anonymized versions of EPC's records.
In the 2008 general election, Our Vote Live logged over 86,000 calls, making it the largest database of voting-related inquiries, problems, and discrepancies ever created — all available to the general public.
OurVoteLive's code is open-source, licensed under Apache 2.0.
Version 1, used in 2008 and 2009, is a PHP/MySQL web application. It's available here.
Version 2, used in the 2010 general election, is based on Google App Engine and Django. It's available here.
