Students Against Data Abuse, a local organization in the Electronic Frontier Alliance, (not EFF) will host this event:

Turing VR Summit

From the Organizers

An open conversation on issues in computation and digital rights impacting the LGBTQ+ community.

This public conversation of digital rights issues impacting the LGBTQ+ community, in memory of Alan Turing, is hosted by Students Against Data Abuse—a student digital-rights advocacy group—and Charlotte Engineer's Gay-Straight Alliance.

The summit will prioritize listening to members of the community. We feel strongly that our advocacy should always be informed by the experiences of those most directly impacted.

While the event is best experienced with a VR headset on the Altspace VR app, Altspace VR has a desktop app that requires no headset. After registration, you will receive a link to the event.
