February 21, 2022 - 6:30pm PST
Online via Zoom

Pacific Northwest Rural Broadband Alliance, a local organization in the Electronic Frontier Alliance, (not EFF) will host this event:

America's Rural Broadband Crisis and How We're Working To Fix It!

From the Organizers:

Join us for an update on the state of broadband in rural America and how the Pacific Northwest Rural Broadband Alliance (PNWRBA) is using community power and cutting edge technology to fix it!

During this event we will dive into the problem, share our model, and unveil the exciting plans and projects we have slated for 2022. Most importantly, we will also discuss all the ways anyone can get involved and support us in bringing high-speed internet to the communities that are most in need.

Joining us will be a guest speaker, Andrew Connor, from the Center for Community Ownership, who will talk about the power of investment crowdfunding and how PNWRBA’s campaign on Crowdfund Montana supports its work and mission.
