At this month’s workshop, Cypurr will talk about how laws like the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation and the US’s CLOUD Act affect companies’ terms of service, data-retention policies, and privacy-by-design.
Mini workshops include:
- Intro to Tor/VPN
- A discussion on Terms of Service, and what you can do to make it less scary!
The Cypurr Collective is a group of some tech-minded folks who are very jazzed about cybersecurity, cats, and helping folks out with their digital dilemmas. We offer workshops for activists, journalists, educators, and everyday folks who want to up their encryption game!
