Same-Sex Marriage Opponents Silence Critical YouTube Clip

The National Organization for Marriage produced an advertisement in which various actors posed as individuals scared of gay rights. Another organization found video recordings of the dismal auditions for the ad, and responded by posting the audition videos online. MSNBC's Rachel Maddow later played the audition tapes on her broadcast television show, criticizing the actors and the premise of the ad. The National Organinzation for Marriage sent a DMCA threat to YouTube, successfully taking the clip of Rachel Maddow's show out of YouTube's archives. MSNBC, however, is still hosting the clip on its website.
