Kerry Maeve Sheehan

Policy Strategist

Kerry is a consulting policy strategist with EFF’s activism team focusing on copyright and patent issues. Prior to joining EFF, Kerry was a policy fellow at Public Knowledge in Washington, D.C., working primarily on copyright and patent issues. She is a former EFF legal intern, has her J.D. from Boston University School of Law, and was a visiting student at Oxford University, where she focused on international and comparative intellectual property and media law. She’s also worked as a legal intern at the Cyberlaw Clinic at Harvard University’s Berkman-Klein Center for Internet and Society and at Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts of Massachusetts. She was a summer associate for Fish & Richardson, P.C., and a research assistant for Professor Stacey L. Dogan. She has a B.A. in Media Study from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Kerry is not yet admitted to practice law
